SwipeAuditMerchant statement intelligence

Terms of use

Effective September 20, 2026

These Terms of Use ("Terms") are an agreement between you and SwipeAudit LLC ("SwipeAudit," "we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account, uploading a statement, purchasing a service, or using SwipeAudit, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy & data handling notice. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

What SwipeAudit provides

SwipeAudit analyzes merchant payment-processing statements and organizes fees, rates, and other statement information into a plain-English report. It may flag items for further review or comparison. SwipeAudit is an analytical software service, not a payment processor, bank, card network, law firm, accounting firm, financial adviser, or representative of your processor.

No guarantee of savings or recovery

A finding is not a determination that your processor made an error, violated an agreement, or owes you money. Results depend on the statement you provide, applicable network rules, your merchant agreement, and facts SwipeAudit may not have. We do not guarantee savings, refunds, negotiation results, report accuracy, or that every fee or statement format can be analyzed. You are responsible for reviewing the report and deciding whether to act on it.

Eligibility, authority, and accounts

You must be at least 18 and able to enter a binding contract. You may upload a statement only if you are authorized to provide and analyze it. You must provide accurate account information, protect your password, and promptly notify us at support@swipe-audit.com if you believe your account has been compromised. You are responsible for activity performed through your account.

Plans and audit access

  • First Audit: one supported audit at no charge, subject to reasonable abuse-prevention limits.
  • Single Audit: one additional successful audit for the price shown at checkout.
  • Monitoring: a recurring monthly subscription that currently includes up to three successful audits during each billing period.

An unsuccessful processing attempt does not use a paid audit or Monitoring allowance. Current prices and plan details appear on the Pricing page and at checkout. We may change future pricing or plan features, but a change to a recurring subscription will apply only as permitted by law and after any notice required by law.

Payments, renewals, and cancellation

Stripe processes payments and stores payment-method information. By purchasing, you authorize Stripe and SwipeAudit to charge the amount shown at checkout, including applicable taxes. Monitoring renews automatically each month until canceled. You may cancel through the Stripe customer portal available from your SwipeAudit billing page. Cancellation stops future renewals; access continues through the end of the already-paid billing period.

Refund policy

A Single Audit purchase is refundable if SwipeAudit cannot produce a usable report from a supported statement after reasonable troubleshooting. Monitoring charges are nonrefundable once billed, including for a partly used billing period, except for billing errors or when a refund is required by law. To request help or a refund, contact support@swipe-audit.com using your account email. Nothing in this policy limits rights that cannot legally be waived.

Acceptable use

You may not upload information you lack permission to use; violate law, another person's rights, or a contract; probe, disrupt, overload, or bypass security, access, payment, or usage controls; introduce malicious code, scrape, or reverse engineer the service except where law expressly permits; or resell, misrepresent, or use reports to make deceptive claims.

Your content and privacy

You retain your rights in information you provide. You give SwipeAudit limited permission to host, copy, transmit, extract, and analyze it only as needed to operate, secure, support, and improve the service. Our Privacy & data handling notice explains the data flow, including processing of statement text by Anthropic and payments by Stripe.

SwipeAudit materials

The service, software, design, rate-reference materials, and other SwipeAudit content are owned by SwipeAudit LLC or its licensors and protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, revocable, nonexclusive, nontransferable right to use the service for your internal business purposes. You may use and share your reports for your own business purposes.

Third-party services

SwipeAudit relies on third parties, including Anthropic for statement-text extraction and AI-assisted question or support features, Stripe for payments and subscriptions, Resend for transactional email, and hosting providers. Their services may have their own terms and may experience outages or changes outside our control.

Service changes and termination

We may change, suspend, or discontinue features and may reject unsupported, unreadable, unsafe, or suspicious files. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may suspend or terminate access for a violation of these Terms, security risk, nonpayment, legal requirement, or material risk to the service or others. You may stop using SwipeAudit at any time; stopping use does not automatically cancel a paid subscription.

Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SwipeAudit is provided "as is" and "as available." SwipeAudit LLC disclaims implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and noninfringement. We do not warrant that a report is complete, that reference data is current in every circumstance, or that use will produce a particular business result.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SwipeAudit LLC and its owners, employees, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunity arising from the service. Our total liability for all claims arising from the service will not exceed the greater of $100 or the amount you paid SwipeAudit during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. These limits do not apply where applicable law prohibits them.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the service changes. We will post the updated version with a new effective date and provide additional notice when required by law. Continued use after updated Terms take effect means you accept them.

General

These Terms and the Privacy & data handling notice are the entire agreement about the service. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain effective. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not transfer these Terms without our consent; SwipeAudit may transfer them as part of a merger, financing, reorganization, or sale of the business. Wisconsin law governs these Terms, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute that may be heard in court must be brought in a state or federal court with jurisdiction in Wisconsin, unless applicable law requires otherwise. This does not limit any mandatory rights that apply to you.
